 When the Family of Man receives a mysterious message from an unknown brother ship somewhere in the galaxy, a set of actions is set into motion that will lead Earth into a final battle for its own existence.

   

 Deep in space another Family of Man vessel is attacked and stripped of all its resources by a Hive Race led by its Queen-Mother. This race of beings use whatever they can find to support their endeavors to conquer the galaxy.

   As Lisa and John along with Pnomos and his crew begin to discover the threat, preparations are made to protect the Earth at all costs, even if it means using the Legacy Device, a device that no one is completely sure as to what it does, a device that will ultimately save Earth or destroy Earth.
